Another session at Stony Man in the books! I could shoot here for the rest of my life and be content, I swear!
Annabelle booked me for their wedding before even setting a date because they were so excited to start planning this session! We immediately started planning their adventure engagement session in Shenandoah National Park. It was so cool seeing it come to life!
The four of us went to the same high school, but if you knew me in high school you’d probably know that I was painfully shy. We went to a fairly small school in Gloucester, VA, yet we had still never officially met. That’s probably due to me being a hermit. Anyways, I couldn’t believe how sweet these two were. Roman and I had SO much fun with them. I wish we had met them sooner!
We chose to hike up at sunrise for their session, and it could not have been a better decision. We were practically the only ones there, and the light could not have been any better. The last time I visited Stony Man for a sunrise session it was windy, foggy, rainy, and chilly, so I had never experienced it like this. Check out this blog post to see how wildly different this place can look in different conditions!
The morning started with a short drive through windy mountain roads and a relaxing 20 minute hike to the summit. The weather was perfect!! Like, 70 degrees, breezy, and morning sunshine. Once we got to the top we did what I do best and frolicked and danced the morning away! Have I mentioned I could shoot here for the rest of my life?!
I hope you enjoy my favorites from their session!
