Let’s talk branding sessions!

Who are they for?

I specialize in branding sessions for small businesses and solopreneuers. As a small business owner myself, I’ve done my own branding photos for years. Visuals are so important when building a brand that speaks to who you are, so as a photographer, I’m lucky to be able to do that for myself. This is where I can step in for you, my friend-who’s-not-conveniently-a-photographer! For example, I do frequent branding sessions with Indigo! They are a woman-owned business serving their community in two locations with a calming atmosphere and a luxury service.

What do you take photos of?

In a typical first branding session I will photograph owners & staff. I will grab some practical headshots as well as some images of you doing day-to-day tasks, whatever that looks like for you. It could be interacting with clients, working on a computer, or creating a product you sell. I also like to capture the feel of the space when you walk in. You want your potential clients to feel what it’s like when they step into your world, even as they’re just filling out a contact form on your website.

When should I book a branding session?

If you are just launching your business, booking a branding session is a great idea! It elevates your brand from the beginning. Think of businesses you look at as “luxury”. Do they have professional photography on their website & socials? Or iPhone photos? If your business has been around awhile, it’s never too late for a session- some people like to book when they have new hires, offer a new product or service, or move to a new location.

Where can I use the images?

Branding images are of course perfect to use everywhere on your website, but they can also be used (more than once!) as Instagram content, Pins on Pinterest, on blogs, or on paper like for a business card or brochure.
