Roman and I had so much fun with Kristin, Noah, and their families and friends. It was one of those wedding days that just never felt like work. We talked about how awesome they were the whole way home, and I couldn’t wait to start editing their pictures!
We met Kristin and Noah at their engagement session last year in Virginia Beach. Noah was in the military, and we were able to squeeze their engagement session in before he deployed to Afghanistan. Their original plan was to get married in May, and he would have been home just a couple of weeks before the wedding to prepare.
But then everything came to a screeching halt because of that dreaded “C” word. Not only were they facing rescheduling their wedding for safety reasons, but now Noah couldn’t even come home. And he wasn’t able to come home until JULY.
As soon as Kristin and Noah got the word that he was coming home, they threw together a wedding in 2 weeks time. They needed a new venue, hair & makeup, cake, and so many other details, and they pulled it off BEAUTIFULLY. You would have never known that they’d thrown this together with such short notice!
It was so rewarding getting to be there and see the happiness radiating from the two of them when they were together. Kristin & Noah had to wait so long for this day. It was priceless to see the love in their eyes. And boy, did they celebrate hard! So worth the wait!!
Thank you so much K & N for choosing us to photograph such a special day! It has been so fun reliving it through the pictures!
