Spring Wedding at Jasmine Plantation

Oh my gosh, have these two been THROUGH it!

Arielle and Christian booked me in 2020, and we all know how lovely that year turned out to be. We were able to do their engagement session without an issue at Belle Isle in Richmond, but they had to postpone their wedding (I want to say) three times before finally making it happen. Throughout the entire process though, they stayed positive, excited, and trusted that their spring wedding day would be perfect. It SO was.

They had their wedding on a Monday, and it was my first wedding of 2022. (Side note: PHOTOGRAPHERS!! A Monday wedding is bomb!!!) I could not have asked for a better way to kick off my 2022 wedding season!! It was everything a spring wedding should be, and reflected them as a couple SO well. The day began with Arielle and her bridesmaids in the gorgeous bridal suite at Jasmine Plantation. When I walked into the room, I was met with good vibes and a welcoming attitude from every girl. It was like documenting a high school sleepover in the best way!

After the sweetest first look and a few portraits, they had the most perfect ceremony. Having waited so long for this moment made it so much more special. Personally, my favorite part was Adore You by Harry Styles playing after the kiss and as they walked back down the aisle. I loved it so much I created a GIF so I’d always remember that moment!! Real tears were shed. I love Arielle & Christian a lot but I also love Harry Styles. The perfect duo.

Their reception did not disappoint and neither did their dance moves. They let loose, as they deserved to! It was so special to celebrate them. They could not be a more perfect couple, and it’s SO easy to tell how much they completely adore each other. Cue Adore You :,)
