I photographed their engagement on a mountaintop, so it was only natural that they got married with the prettiest mountain backdrop at sunset. Lauren & Preston jumped through quite a few hoops to make this happen (no different than all of my other badass 2020 couples), but these two had to do it from Texas!! Thank GOODNESS everything went as planned, since so many people traveled from states away to celebrate them on their special day!
Lauren & Preston’s wedding day was just one of those days that I could have stayed to photograph all weekend. Every detail was just plain perfection. From the flowers to the dress to the venue itself… I could not have drawn up anything more perfect. And I’ll say it again… their ceremony was during the most BEAUTIFUL sunset dipping behind the mountains.
I’d have to say that this was one of the most fun receptions I’ve attended too. Their DJ was also a comedian and set the tone so freakin’ well. Eveeerrryybody and their mom was out on that dance floor. Including him, and I just love that so much.
I could just talk about this day forever, but I think the pictures speak for themselves. The classiest wedding day for the classiest couple ever. I don’t consider myself a classy gal, but that’s why I love being a wedding photographer. I get to enjoy fancy things like steak dinners and long dresses while meeting new interesting people… and in my comfy photographer clothes, at that.
I just love these two. Get married again so I can do it all over, please?
