While Summer is probably my very least favorite time of the year, there is something about a classic Summer wedding that melts my heart! See what I did there… no? Okay.
I am SO lucky to have had the opportunity to capture Brooke & Zach’s beautiful summer wedding at the Barns of Kanak! It was hot, and I mean HOT hot. Many photo breaks were required to keep us cool and the makeup from sliding right off Brooke’s face. But with a killer timeline and the VERY best second shooter (hey hey Rilee!!), I was able to deliver one of my favorite galleries this year. It might help that I just love these two and their spirits.
I actually met Zach in middle school science class. We didn’t talk much in high school until I started working at the local movie theater, where Zach’s best friend also worked. That’s where Zach decided to sneak a couple buckets of popcorn and completely TRAAASSSHHH my 96 Tacoma while I was closing. Needless to say I was pissed, and I think that was the last time I saw him before he reached out about wedding photography. Bold of him! Oh but so glad he did!
Brooke, you have your hands full. But the way you love each other is enough to carry you through, even if he pranks you to the point of no return. I cried so many times on your wedding day watching the two of you love each other and I am so happy you chose me to document all of those special moments.

These wedding photos are extraordinary!! It makes me want to go back and do it all again. I was married at the United Nations, in the chapel. You could have made it look as unique as it was, instead of the six pictures I have from one Brownie flash cube. These are beautiful treasures. If I ever remarry a 3rd time, I shall come straight to you!

With two gorgeous suites for the bride & groom, a modern high ceiling, air-conditioned barn for the reception, wide open fields, and multiple options for indoor & outdoor ceremony locations, you have everything you need.
